OPEN HOUSE
Please make sure to attend our Open House this Friday, August 26th from 10-11 am.  This is an excellent opportunity for all of the students to meet their teachers for next year and find their classrooms prior to the first day.

Sign up sheets will also be available in all of the classrooms for you to volunteer as a Room Parent for your child’s classroom.  Being a Room Parent is a very rewarding experience and it will give you a very special connection with your child’s classroom.


Please make sure to check out our amazing new LogoWear that will be available for sale in the main hallway.  Cash and carry so bring a check book!


TEACHER’S BREAKFAST
If you would like to bring something or help out at the Teacher’s Breakfast this Thursday, please email michbenaim@aol.com to get the sign up list emailed to you.

NEW PARENT MEETING AND DINNER (no fee to come!  Sponsored by the PES PTA)

Why:     To Meet the Principal, Staff & PTA Leaders, Have all your questions answered, and start the year off right with a great meal!

VOLUNTEER TRAINING AND BREAKFAST
Mark your calendars for the Volunteer Training & Breakfast on September 19th, and Room Parents Training & Breakfast on the 20th.  Don’t miss this occasion to check out our new handbooks, and how SIMPLE we have made it all!  We will also be holding an evening session and will send out a note with the day/time as soon as it is determined.


PLEASE VOLUNTEER!
The success of our school depends on all of us, and our individual efforts. There are many ways you can bring your skills to the table by volunteering at Potomac Elementary! Whether it is by helping out at a science fair, chaperoning a field trip, or decorating a classroom for a party, if you are interested in becoming a volunteer, we would like to hear from you.  We can put you on our Signupgenius.com list and you will be able to choose a time/event that works for you or hit DELETE!  It only takes  a second to sign up AND we send a reminder a day before.  Please email susanschwartz@aol.com to be added to our list.
