Huayuan Chinese Academy (HYCA) is the first Chinese language after-school enrichment program in the Greater Washington Area and the only community-based organization that receives competitive federal funding (Startalk summer camp) to promote Chinese language and culture since 2013. With experienced teachers and individually tailored programs, HYCA aims to help students achieve academic excellence and in the meantime enjoy their after-school time and have fun.
HYCA currently offers after-school Mandarin Chinese language and culture immersion programs at several Montgomery County public elementary schools (ES).
