As you start to prepare for the new school year, please consider becoming a room parent for your child’s PM class. It is an amazing opportunity to get to know other parents, learn about your children’s friends, and advocate and support the teachers and staff at Potomac ES!
What Does a Room Parent Do?
Room parents collect class dues, plan and lead classroom activities for the Halloween and Valentine’s Day Parties, and coordinate holiday/year-end teacher gifts. In addition, room parents may be ask to provide class-level communications to families.
Save the Date! Room Parent Meeting: All Room Parents will be asked to participate in a Zoom orientation meeting on Tuesday, September 17th at 7:30 pm.
