Event: Open House to Celebration Mrs. Li’s Retirement
Date: Friday, June 12, 2026 from 4:30pm-6:30pm
Where: Potomac Elementary School Gym, 10311 River Road
No tickets Necessary, but we ask that you RSVP. Please feel free to bring a refreshment to share.
To honor the 30 years of Mrs. Li’s tireless dedication to teaching Chinese language and culture to PES students we ask that you consider making a donation so that we may stock the school library and Chinese immersion classroom libraries with language and culture books. Please utilize this Amazon Wish List as these are all MCPS approved books.
We will have a basket for you to leave cards of well wishes or a photo of your student with Mrs. Li (include student name and year).
Dr. Z is also making a video/slideshow and welcomes everyone to submit material for this project. Please send your photos or 10 second video to zhian.zhang@mcpsmd.net by June 1st. You may reach out to him with questions about this project.
